Do you still feel excited after you have been paid before you start the tasks?

Because of lack of trust or the nature of the task, most of the freelancers always want to be paid before they start the tasks. While this may be a good idea, the only disavantage I see about it is that it is not really an exciting way of getting freelancing service done. Majority of the freelancers always feel less excited after they might have collected the money. They may not feel the urge to continue the tasks any longer. That's why majority even prefer to be paid at the end of the task.
