Do I really need a mentor to guide me through Fiverr?

To many people that is truly ready to work on Fiverr, they may not really need to be guided on Fiverr before they start using it. The platform has been designed in such a way that it can be understood by even the inexperienced uses. There are different videos that also serve as guides for the freelancers as well.
