Many digital marketers running on PPC always relax most times. In fact, some of them would not see any need to be involving more on SEO strategies and any other forms of marketing having enrolled in PPC. Is it okay or is only PPC all right for the users?

Activating PPC doesn't mean that there should not be more of other forms of marketing to be involving in, especially for the users to get the best result. In other word, activities like using the right keywords, making use of long keyword tail and even targeting a particular location can be of help.

PPC is great for driving quick traffic, testing keywords, and getting in front of people who are ready to buy right now. But the moment you stop paying, the traffic disappears. SEO builds long-term visibility by helping your site rank naturally, which earns trust and reduces your overall marketing costs. Strong SEO also supports your PPC results: well-optimized pages improve Quality Score, lower ad costs, and make your campaigns more efficient.

PPC gets you fast results but it stops working the moment you stop paying. SEO takes longer to build up but once you have it, the traffic keeps coming without constant spending. Most businesses that only use PPC end up spending way more money over time because they never own their traffic.

I think people get comfortable with PPC because it feels predictable. You know exactly what you're getting for your money. But relying only on ads is risky because ad costs go up, platforms change rules, and competition drives prices higher.

SEO might be slower and harder to measure at first, but it builds something that lasts. Even if your rankings aren't perfect, you still get some free traffic. With PPC alone, you get nothing if you pause your campaigns. Both have their place, but putting all your focus on paid ads seems short-sighted to me.

The problem with choosing one or the other is that they work differently for different stages. When someone is ready to buy right now, PPC catches them. But most people aren't ready to buy immediately. They're researching, comparing, trying to figure out what they need. SEO helps you show up during that research phase.

You are right, If you only do PPC, you miss out on everyone who's still in the early stages. They might never even see your ads because they're not using buying keywords yet. You need both to cover the whole customer journey from start to finish.

Some marketers treat PPC like a magic solution and forget everything else. That might work short term but it creates problems later. Your cost per click keeps going up because everyone else is bidding on the same keywords. Meanwhile, your competitors who invested in SEO are getting free traffic and can afford to bid higher on ads because they have better margins.

There's also the trust factor. People click on organic results more than ads because they feel less like someone is trying to sell them something. Having good organic rankings makes your brand look more established and credible.

PPC is great for testing what works before you invest in SEO. You can run ads, see which keywords convert, figure out what messaging resonates, and then use that information to guide your SEO strategy. But once you know what works, it makes sense to start building organic presence around those same keywords.

Exactly. When people see you in both the ads and the organic results, it reinforces your presence and makes them more likely to click. If you only show up in the paid section, some users will skip right past you looking for organic options. Combining both gives you more real estate on the page and more chances to get clicked.
