I used to think keyword research was the same for every niche, but it started making more sense when I saw how different audiences search in different ways. In some niches like tech, people search with comparison words and product names, while in health or beauty, people search with problems and solutions. That means the keywords you target should match how people think in that niche. Understanding the audience matters more than just finding keywords with traffic. How do others adjust their keyword strategy for different niches?

I think most experienced marketers adjust keyword strategy by starting with intent, not volume. In technical niches like software or gadgets, they focus more on comparison, brand, and feature-based keywords because users already know what they're looking for. In lifestyle or health niches, they shift toward problem-based searches like "how to fix" or "best way to," since users are often still exploring solutions. The real adjustment comes from understanding how the audience thinks at different stages, then matching keywords to that mindset instead of copying a single formula across all niches.

Yes, I think different affiliate niches need different keyword strategies because people search in different ways. Someone looking for software may search for comparisons and free trials, while someone shopping for home products may look for reviews or buying guides. Understanding how your audience searches helps you choose keywords that are more likely to bring the right visitors.

The basic principles of keyword research stay the same, but the strategy should match the niche. Some niches are highly competitive, so focusing on longer and more specific keywords can be more effective. In other niches, broader keywords may still bring good results if the competition is lower.
