Affiliate link tracking can show different results depending on where the link was clicked, what device was used, or whether the person had any blockers running. When a post is shared on different platforms, the audience on each one behaves differently, so click numbers will not always match. Some platforms also shorten links or redirect them in ways that can break tracking for a moment. On top of that, different affiliate programs track clicks differently, so the numbers from one dashboard may not match another. Looking at all the data together gives a better picture than focusing on one source. Why do the same affiliate links show different click counts on different platforms?
