I want to start email Marketing together with my affiliate marketing campaign. The problem is that I don't have enough money to afford an auto responder for the campaign.

I'm wondering if it's possible to use Gmail to send out marketing emails to a list of contacts. I know Gmail has some limitations on sending bulk emails, but I'm curious if anyone has tried this or has any tips.

Are there workarounds to manage higher volumes, or is it best to use a dedicated email marketing service? Any advice on what works and what doesn't with Gmail for this purpose would be really helpful.
