There is a version of freelancing where you are always chasing more hours to earn more money, and there is another version where you earn well without burning yourself out. The second version is possible but it requires you to stop selling your time and start selling the result your work produces for a client. When clients see you as someone who solves a specific problem well, they are usually willing to pay more for your service without asking you to work longer. I want to know if anyone here has made that shift from hourly thinking to value-based thinking and what that change felt like in practice.
