Working with a great client often leads to a situation where they want to show extra appreciation for a job well done. They might want to send a tip or a bonus using a different method to avoid the extra service charges that the website adds. While it sounds like a nice gesture, many platforms have very strict policies about moving any money away from their own tracking systems. I wonder if this is allowed. Can a client give a freelancer a bonus outside of the platform payment system?
