As a freelancer, what should I do if a client refuses payment upfront (no matter if it’s 50% or 30%)?

If your clients to pay upfront fees, just see that as being too risky. You need to make sure that you have a solid contract terms before you begin. And if they still refuse to the payment terms and they are not offering the better ones, then you need to be cautious of your next step. You don't even ro go ahead with such a task if I were to advise you. What is your own opinion?
