Truly, Discord communities are very active but many normal users still prefer facebook groups because everything feels easier there. Once you mention discord to some people, they already think it's only for gamers. Thats changing a little now. I like the organized channels and faster discussions, but onboarding new members can be very confusing. My uncle is still struggling with ordinary whatsapp updates, imagine he's on discord. That will be a disaster.
