Ask Is "AI slop" ruining engagement rates on Facebook and Instagram?

My feed on Facebook is very boring nowadays. Every scroll I made, it's the same recycled story, those fake emotional quote or strange picture that are not even connected with reality. After a while, you just get bored and start skipping everything. I think people are reacting more to boring content than the fact that AI was involved. If you uses AI to polish all your ideas and you still add your real experience and personality, people will still engage because it's real . The real issue is copying the same format everybody else was using. People on social media don't have that kind of patience, especially for repetitive gist.
