Ask Are pop-ups more prevalent on free version of Poly AI dating app?

So is it just the free users (Android) that get graced with those mid conversation pop ups on what model or mode I should be choosing? Gotta say it's a great mood breaker. I was dealing with all the actual ads, but now with this added seems like overkill. Free users shouldn't have all the fun sucked out of a conversation by a pop ups. Aren't upgrades supposed to make an app better? Seems like when something gets fixed the free users get stuck with things that take the fun out of the app for them trying to get them to get a paid subscription. That's what it seems like lately anyways.
