Large freelance platforms have more jobs and more clients, but niche platforms built around one skill or industry can offer better matches since everyone there already understands that specific type of work. Competition on niche sites is often smaller too, which can make it easier for a skilled freelancer to stand out. Still, niche platforms usually have fewer job postings overall compared to bigger sites. Do you think niche platforms give freelancers a real advantage over larger ones?

It depends what you need Niche platforms have less competition and clients who actually get your industry so landing jobs is easier. But large ones like Upwork have way more volume. If you're new, big sites help. If you're specialized, niche sites usually bring better clients and pay.
