Some freelancers have come into conclusion that it is not always advisable to be collecting deposit from your long-term clients. They claim there should be the trust built. Asking them may make some of them believe that you don't really trust them. Reverse may be the case for some freelancers. There is no trust in online tasks. You still need to be asking for the deposit. Doing this only make you stay at the safer side and nothing more.
