Most business owners would be confused on whether they need to change their marketing strategies that are working to the trending ones. This may be a tough decision. I understand the fact that a business owner would like to be using the current marketing strategy in order to blend the current wave, and the fear of leaving known for unknown.

If it still working, I don't think it is necessary to change it. But the fact is that you need to make sure you are adding the new tweak to your strategies. Doing this will let your strategies blend with both the new and old models as a business owner.
 
Things change all the time so what works now might flop later. I'd keep the stuff that's working but try little tweaks here and there, like testing new social media, changing up the wording, or refreshing the visuals. It keeps things fresh without breaking what's already doing well. Plus, it makes the brand feel like it's evolving, not stuck in the past. So instead of a full-on overhaul, I'd just make small adjustments and see what sticks
 
Changing strategies when they are still working is somehow a personal decision. The main time strategies are best changed are when they are not working again. Changing working strategies will not let the business owners know the defects of the strategies that they want to change since they are still working
 
If something is bringing good results, it's smart to keep using it. But that doesn't mean I would ignore new ideas. I'd still watch how things are going and maybe try small changes here and there. Markets and customers can change over time, so it's good to stay flexible. I'd test new things slowly instead of changing everything at once. That way I don't risk losing what's already working.
 
This may sound tricky. If the strategy is working, changing it may not be an option. But if there is a need to change it may be because of the new innovation, you may be combining the methods together so that it can work better for the benefits of the company
