The only thing that you need to know is that you must be good in marketing. You must know how to get your clients convinced. Yes the country of resident will definitely affect your income on the freelance marketplace. If it happens that you are from a third world country like Central African Republic people will definitely pass and go over to the freelancer that comes from United States. This has been the stereotype with most people no matter how good brush.
