Small mistakes can happen when you want to make a post either a friend or a comment. On BMF.io categories guide where discussions and threads should go, but I imagine if someone accidentally posts in the wrong place. Many communities are strict about order, while others allow flexibility as long as the content adds value.

It makes me curious how BMF handles these situations whether they emphasize guidance and correction or lean towards penalties for mistakes.

Stuff like that happens all the time, especially if you're new or the sections aren't super clear. Mods usually just move the post to the right place or leave a quick note telling you where it belongs. Getting banned is usually for serious things like spamming, being rude, breaking rules over and over, or ignoring warnings. As long as your post is normal and you didn't do it on purpose, there's nothing to stress about.
