If there is a need to, there is nothing bad. However, that's not really the yardstick. There are some clients that don't really mind the educational background that you have. What concerns them the most is the skills. And what you can do matters most to them. There are some clients, that however mind. They do believe that you need to have the required educational background for you to be seen as being competent freelancers.
