Many argue that gambling should be illegal for several reasons. Gambling often leads to addiction and financial ruin. Individuals can lose control over their spending habits. Families suffer due to the negative impact of gambling. Crime rates can increase in areas with legal gambling. This includes fraud and theft related to gambling debts. Vulnerable populations are often exploited by the gambling industry. Children and teens may be exposed to harmful behaviors. Additionally, gambling can harm mental health and well-being. In summary, the risks and societal costs associated with gambling support the argument for making it illegal.

I don't think gambling should be completely illegal, but I do think it needs strong control. Not everyone gets addicted, but those who do suffer badly. The problem is when companies target people who are already weak. Kids also see gambling ads all the time now, and that's not good. So maybe instead of banning it fully, make it harder to access and stricter on who can use it.

Gambling should not really be made illegal, rather be regulated. There are many reasons why people gamble and not most of the gamblers are doing it for money. There are some people that are into gambling to know how to take important decisions. For instance, gambling on games like chess, will have more benefits even if lost.
