It does sadden one heart seeing that our business website page is not indexed. In fact, this has made it very frustrated for some business owners. They may because of this leave SEO strategies.

What do you think can be responsible for this? Why will Google or any other search engines refuse to index the pages? What can someone do, especially the new business owners, in order to get a stop to something like this?

A common reason is that your page might be blocked from search engines without you knowing. You should check your website's robots.txt file. This file tells search engines which pages they can and cannot access. If there is a mistake in this file, it could be stopping Google from seeing your page. You can find this file by adding "/robots.txt" to the end of your website's main address.

Your page might not have any other websites linking to it. Think of links from other sites as votes of confidence. When Google sees these votes, it is more likely to come and index your page. If your website is new and has no links, it can take much longer for Google to find it on its own. Sharing your new page on your social media accounts can sometimes help give it a small push.

The content on your page could be too similar to something else already on the internet. Search engines try to show unique results. If your page has the same text as another site, or even very similar text, Google may decide not to index it. Make sure you are creating original content that provides a clear answer or a unique perspective for your visitors.

It could be that you've accidentally added a "noindex" tag, which tells Google not to bother with it. Maybe the content's not that great or it doesn't have enough backlinks to show it's important. Technical stuff like slow page load times or broken links can also mess things up. Or maybe Google just hasn't gotten around to crawling it yet.

For the fact that you write a content doesn't mean it will surely show up on Google. Google decides which contents to show up on the SERPs. And this is done after such contents must have met some criteria. Some of them include having the right and high-quality backlinks

You know It can be that the page is simply not crawled yet. New pages sometimes take time before search engines discover and index them. If the page is not linked well inside your site or has no backlinks, it may stay unnoticed for a while.
