Why is it difficult for new freelancers to get clients on freelancing?

New freelancers do find it difficult to get clients. They do struggle to compete with the other freelancers that are professional before they can get a client. This has really affected their revenue. One of the reasons for this is that majority of the clients don't really trust the freelancers that are new. They always believe that they cannot be trusted. It is left for the freelancers that are new to them prove themselves that they are good.
