Why is getting affordable freelancers now becoming tougher these days?

I don't know whether you have noticed that it has now become difficult to get some affordable freelancers. These days, all freelancers have increased their pay. They don't really want to go into cheaper task any longer. These days, it has really become a burden to clients looking for freelancers that can get their tasks done even at a cheaper rate. Everything is expensive and the platform is also not making it pretty much cheaper to get affordable freelance. There are some charges which the freelance platform add to the prices of the freelance and this makes their price to be a bit expensive for an average client. Currency differences explain a lot of this. Someone in a stronger currency country can offer higher rates and still look affordable to their own clients, while pricing out buyers from weaker currencies completely. That shift happened quietly over the last few years without much notice.
