Consumers are more skeptical of promotions. Brands expect higher-quality content from affiliates. Algorithms on social media reduce organic reach. Affiliates need advanced skills to drive traffic. New privacy laws affect tracking and analytics. Constant industry changes demand ongoing adaptation. Building trust with audiences requires more effort. Success now demands more strategy and consistency than before.
 
Basically, everyone and their dog is doing it now, so standing out is tough. Old tricks that used to work don't fly anymore because platforms are stricter and algorithms keep changing. Ads cost more, social media reach sucks, and people can tell a pushy promo from a mile away. On top of that, stuff like cookie restrictions makes tracking clicks and sales a pain. Now, if you wanna make it work, you actually have to put in real effort

People can tell when you're just trying to sell them something, so you gotta build trust. Privacy stuff, like cookies and tracking, makes it harder to know who's actually buying. Plus, brands are picky about who they work with and want proof you can deliver.
