Just like some other people I also wonder why the business professors don't have business of their own despite all the depth of knowledge they possess. I think there are so many reason for this. You should be known that academia and entrepreneurship require different skill sets and mindsets. Business professors focus on research, teaching, and theoretical knowledge. On the other hand, entrepreneurs need to be hands-on, deal with risk. They also navigate the unpredictable nature of business operations even if it gives them constant headache. The stability of an academic career might appeal more to some than the uncertainty of starting a business. Some professors may have run businesses in the past but chose to switch to teaching to share their knowledge and experiences with students. Have you ever wondered why business professors don't often pursue business ventures? Let's dive into this discussion!

Most people that are so professional in business don't always involve in business for many reasons. The first thing is that most time the theoretical aspects of business is not always the same with the practical aspect of it. And also, they may not even have the time for it.

The simple answer is that many of them actually have, or still do in some form, but their main job is teaching and research. Universities want experts who can study business systems, not just operate inside one company. Running a business full-time takes time and risk, while academia rewards analysis, publishing, and teaching students. Also, real-world experience varies. It's similar to how sports coaches don't have to be professional athletes anymore; they need understanding and strategy.

Moar of them might have done some businesses before and realized that theoretical aspect of business is different from the practical aspects. Besides, mkar of them always go after researches and even write out their findings rather than carrying out the businesses themselves. Though there are some of them that are into business
