Every platform has its own audience with different habits and expectations. A long post that works well on LinkedIn might get ignored on Instagram, where people prefer visuals. A funny short video that blows up on TikTok might feel out of place on Facebook. The format matters, but so does the mood of the people using each platform. Someone on LinkedIn is thinking about work, while someone on Instagram is relaxing. The content has to fit the moment. So do you think content should always be rewritten for each platform instead of just being copied across?
 
I think content should usually be adapted for each platform rather than copied exactly. The main message can stay the same, but the format, tone, and style should match what people expect on that platform. This helps the content feel more natural and relevant, which often leads to better engagement and results.
 
The same content can perform very differently across platforms because each platform has its own audience behavior, algorithm, content format preferences, and engagement signals. A post that succeeds on one platform may align perfectly with how users consume content there, while the same post may receive less visibility or interaction elsewhere. Factors such as timing, user demographics, platform culture, and the way algorithms prioritize content all influence reach and engagement, making platform context just as important as the content itself.
