Chatbots often have higher open rates than emails due to several factors. First, chatbots offer a more interactive and personalized experience. People are more likely to engage with a message they can immediately respond to. Chatbots also provide instant communication, which appeals to users who prefer quick responses. Emails, on the other hand, can be overlooked due to overcrowded inboxes and the delay in receiving replies. Additionally, chatbots typically operate on platforms where users are already active, such as messaging apps. This increased visibility and engagement make chatbots more effective for communication, resulting in higher open rates compared to email.

I feel one big reason chatbots often get higher open rates than email is immediacy. Messages pop up directly in apps or on websites, so people see them right away instead of sitting in a crowded inbox. They also feel more personal and conversational, like a one-on-one message, which makes users more likely to click and engage quickly.
