Why do some clients hire freelancers from developing countries?

I don't know whether you notice that most people, I mean clients always want to get their freelancers from the developing countries. Doing this will make them save some money. Most clients always believe that developing freelancers do not charge much. In fact if they charge much, their fee can be afforded compared to the freelancers from the developed freelancers. The reason is that they believe they can get the service at the cheaper price by employing people from the developing country. Those people have priced the service of the freelance in advance country like United States and it seems to be higher than the budget. Definitely they will go for the cheaper one if they can offer the same service
