Why do clients still avoid me despite having my price reduced?

One of the gravest mistakes to be committed by the freelancers is reducing their price because the believe that or their clients complain that their prices are too high. You don't need to bring your prices down on that basis if at all you need to do so. Many people will not take you so serious if you do this. What do you think? They may believe that you are only looking for money but not really competent at all.
 
Maybe as a result of trust issue. The moment you give your price you you should never waver on it. It is the client who has to negotiate it down and you don't need to give him easily for the client. Never be too desperate to work on any project just because you need money you might end up losing more
