As a freelancer you are going to meet different kind of people from the freelance marketplace. I have met some clients who are very direct and social in their approach. I offer proofreading services in the freelance marketplace and content writing. But there is this particular client who always request for a draft and I think that this is not necessary.

Another question I want to ask you guys concerning this is that Why do clients love freelancers who share raw drafts? I will be looking forward to your insight in the comment section. Let me know if you have ever experienced something like this.

It's common for clients to request raw drafts from freelancers, and there are a few reasons why they may prefer this approach:

1. **Transparency:** Sharing raw drafts demonstrates transparency and openness in your work process. Clients appreciate being kept in the loop and seeing the progress of the project unfolding before the final delivery.

2. **Collaboration:** Some clients enjoy being involved in the creative process and providing feedback along the way. By sharing raw drafts, freelancers invite clients to contribute their thoughts and suggestions, fostering a collaborative working relationship.

3. **Trust building:** Providing raw drafts can help build trust with clients by showing your commitment to delivering high-quality work. It allows clients to see your attention to detail and dedication to meeting their requirements.

4. **Ensures alignment:** Sharing drafts early in the process helps ensure that both the freelancer and the client are on the same page regarding the project's direction, tone, and style. It allows for adjustments to be made before the final delivery, reducing the risk of misunderstandings or revisions later on.

While it may seem unnecessary to you as a freelancer, it's important to remember that every client has their preferences and expectations. Being open to sharing raw drafts can potentially lead to stronger client relationships, clearer communication, and ultimately, a more successful project outcome.
