Digital marketing is not like other forms of marketing, it requires the digital marketers to know the best ways to track the performance of his business. This means, it will give opportunity for the business owners to know whether he's making gain or lose. Unfortunately, not all business owners always make use of this.

It is of highly importance getting our businesses tracked to ensure that we are using the right form of digital marketing or not.
 
Affiliate marketers that decide not to take measuring metrics again will find himself to be blamed as he may not get the right result for the promotion. However, measuring needs to be measured at some interval in order to get the result for it. Measuring it without any interval may not bring about accurate results wanted by the affiliate marketers.
 
I think many people don't measure because they're afraid of what they'll find. If a campaign fails, it can feel discouraging, so it's easier to just keep going without checking results. But the truth is, even failed data helps you learn faster.
 
Some digital marketers simply underestimate how powerful performance tracking is. They think more posts or more ads equal more success, but that's rarely true. Measuring results helps you know if your money and time are going to the right places. Without it, you could keep repeating mistakes and not even notice. Tools like Google Analytics or Facebook Insights are free and simple enough to start with , people just need to make it part of their habit.
 
It's mostly a mindset problem. Many marketers focus too much on doing more instead of checking what's already working. They launch campaigns after campaigns without reviewing data or ROI. Maybe they feel it's too technical or boring, but analytics actually saves time and money. The truth is, you can't improve what you don't measure.

Though l understand the fact that most times, negative results from the tracking of the affiliate metrics can be very discouraging. But for a digital marketer that really want to make impacts, he shouldn't be bothered rather he needs to ensure that he used the negative results to get motivated, then use it to motivate himself
