The majority of the people are not interested in marketing because they don't have iota of knowledge about it. It should be known that many adults don't understand the concept of marketing so they will definitely develop natural detest towards it anytime they were being offer as a job. Another thing is that marketing is not one of the major subject unless it is been offered as a course in the college and university. Therefore less number of people are familiar with it. These are some of the reason why a lot of people don't have good affinity for marketing and they detest it as a job.

Marketing isn't just making cute posts online, it's tons of research, data, and constant pressure to get results, which doesn't appeal to everyone. Plus, the trends change so fast that you've gotta be learning new stuff all the time, and not everyone wants that. Some folks just like jobs that are more straightforward and steady, where they know exactly what to expect each day. Compared to that, marketing can look confusing, unpredictable, and kind of exhausting.
