The freelancing space has changed a lot, and platforms that used to be strong sources of work have become oversaturated or less reliable over time. Some freelancers are finding better results on newer platforms while others are moving back to basics like personal websites and direct outreach. It is becoming less clear which platforms are actually worth your time and energy right now. As for me I will always choose upwork in fiverr over the rest of the platform. The reason is that these two platform has been in existed for over decades and they are still growing stronger. It shows that they have a strong system put in place that cater for both freelancer and the client.
