Diving into the world of affiliate marketing, one of the first questions that pops up is, "Which companies even have good affiliate programs?" It's a valid question, and the answer isn't always straightforward because "best" can mean different things to different people.
However, some names consistently come up when people talk about solid affiliate opportunities. For instance, Amazon Associates is a popular starting point because, well, *everyone* knows Amazon, and they sell just about everything. This makes it easy to find products that fit your niche. Then there are companies like Shopify and HubSpot, which offer programs that can be quite lucrative, especially if your audience is interested in e-commerce or marketing tools.
Also, don't ignore platforms like Fiverr, which connects businesses with freelancers. Depending on the services you promote, the commission structures can be quite attractive. Ultimately, the ideal affiliate program depends on your audience and the kind of content you create. What works for a tech blogger might not be the best fit for a lifestyle influencer, and that's okay.

I'm curious, has anyone had good experiences with particular affiliate programs, or are there any you'd suggest others check out?

I've tried a few, and I think Amazon's program is good for beginners because it has many products. But the commission is small. I like ShareASale and Impact because they have more companies and better pay. It's not just about big names though—some small brands pay more if you bring good traffic. What matters is picking something you truly understand and can talk about. When you trust the product, it's easier to sell it without feeling like you're just chasing money.

There are many excellent affiliate programs, but the best ones depend on your niche and target audience. Amazon Associates remains a popular choice due to its massive product catalog, allowing affiliates to promote almost anything, though its commission rates are modest. For digital marketers, ClickBank is highly regarded for its high payouts on eBooks and online courses. Platforms like CJ Affiliate and Rakuten Advertising give you access to well-known brands, which can boost conversions. If you cater to entrepreneurs, Shopify and Bluehost are fantastic programs offering high commissions, especially for web hosting and e-commerce tools. Picking a program that aligns with your audience's needs will yield the best results.

From my experience, Amazon Associates is usually where most people start, but it's not always the highest paying. I would suggest using it more for trust and variety rather than big earnings. Programs like Shopify and HubSpot can pay better because they target business users, and those conversions are more valuable.
