There comes a point where some affiliate products just do not perform anymore because the market changes or people lose interest in them. Keeping links to these products on a site can make the whole page look outdated and waste visitor attention. Removing or replacing underperforming products keeps the focus on what actually converts and brings income. This way the site stays relevant and does not confuse readers with too many options. How do you decide which products to remove and which ones to keep promoting?
 
Decisions usually come down to performance data and current relevance. Products that get steady traffic but very few conversions over time are strong candidates for removal, especially if the trend is consistently flat or declining. It also helps to check whether the product still matches what the audience actually wants today, since better or newer alternatives often appear. The best ones to keep are those that still convert reliably and clearly fit the topic and intent of the content, even if they are not the top earners.
 
I think it's time to stop promoting an affiliate product when it no longer brings results. If you notice very low clicks or almost no conversions after trying different angles, it may mean the offer is not strong anymore or your audience is not interested. At that point, it makes sense to test other products instead of forcing it.
