I'm thinking about creating an online course but have no idea what tools to use. There are so many options out there and I'm confused.

Do I need special software to create videos or can I just use my phone? What about slides, should I use PowerPoint or something else? I also don't know where to host the course. Should I use platforms like Teachable or Thinkific or is it better to host it on my own website?

I want something that's easy to use and doesn't require too much technical knowledge.

If you've created a course before, what tools did you use?
