Hey everyone, I've been experimenting with different types of content in my display ads lately. I tried using straightforward product shots, storytelling visuals, and even some humor in the copy. Each approach gave the ads a unique feel.

I created multiple campaigns to see which style got better engagement. Some ads with clear, simple messages performed well, while others with a bit of personality caught more eyes. I tracked clicks and conversions closely to compare results.

What type of content performs better in display ads?

Bright colors, big headlines, and super simple messaging work best because most people just skim. Short, punchy text with a clear call-to-action like Shop Now or Learn More gets clicks. Animations or little videos can help too since they stand out from boring static ads. Also, ads that actually match what people care about or solve a problem do way better. Bottom line: keep it simple, clear, and relevant.

In search there is intent to purchase. However in Display the intent to purchase is less. You have to push the product.

In Search for some categories there is too much competition that the cost per click and cost per lead might be high. However the conversion from lead to sale is higher. You need to be very careful about the keywords for the campaign.

In the case of display ads it is a completely push ads. For products where there is high impulse purchase these are good. Also for brand awareness at a very low cost, display advertising is good. In todays times, you can run a video ad at as low cost as possible cheaper than even banner ads in some situation.

Honest ads that show real results or real people tend to build more trust than overly polished corporate stuff. Stock photos of perfect models smiling at laptops feel fake and people ignore them automatically. User-generated content or authentic images create better connections because they look believable.

Video ads are getting more clicks now compared to static images, but they need to be short. Nobody watches a two minute ad unless it is extremely entertaining. The first three seconds matter most because that is when people decide to keep watching or move on.

User-generated content or authentic images create better connections because they look believable. If you are selling a product, show it being used in normal situations instead of staged perfection. People respond to things that feel genuine rather than advertisements that scream "we paid a designer too much for this."
