Business owners should find different strategies by which they can get their freelancers. This is because not all freelancers, no matter the platforms you may see them, are real. In fact, there are more of fake freelancers than you can imagine. That's why most clients always make sure that they find different ways by which they can get the real freelancers that can actually promote their business. What do you think about this?

Referrals still beat everything else in my experience watching others here talk about it. People trust a person who already worked with you and got results, more than any profile with five star ratings. Cold pitching works too but referrals close faster and with less back and forth.

I wonder how many people asking this question already have a full portfolio ready to show. Because half the battle is having something to point to when someone asks what you can do. No portfolio, no proof, and clients just move to the next name on the list.
