This is something that happens more than people talk about, and it puts freelancers in a really difficult position. You have already done the work, the client has received it, and now they are either ignoring you or refusing to pay what was agreed. Some people say contracts help, but enforcing them is another matter entirely. What steps have you taken or would you take if a client used your work without completing the payment?

The best thing they can do is that they can report to the resolution center if it happens on the freelance marketplace.
