I've seen a lot of online courses lately, and I noticed some instructors are called "experts" or have big credentials. But I don't really know how much that matters. Does being an expert really make a course better? Or is it just a way to get people to sign up? I've never bought an online course before, so I'm just trying to figure out what to look for. I don't want to waste money on hype. I'm more interested in learning something useful. So I wanted to ask others who know more than I do.
