Imagine a scenario where you have many tasks at hand, all to be delivered at almost the same intervals. How will you priotize the ones that you want to do first? Some freelancers always consider the money that they are paid to determine the ones to be done first. They consider doing the one that have high money. So they consider the clients that pay the money that is high first. Others still use orders. They attend to the clients that give them orders first.
