Targeting those keywords can bring visitors but no income. It may be better to focus on keywords that show a problem, a need, or product interest. Avoiding the wrong keywords can save a lot of time. I think the main keywords to avoid in affiliate marketing are the ones where people are only looking for information and not planning to buy anything. Things like "what is," "meaning of," "free download," or school-related searches usually bring traffic but no sales. These users are just learning, not shopping. It's better to focus on keywords where people are comparing products, looking for reviews, or ready to solve a problem, because those are much more likely to turn into affiliate clicks and conversions.
 
Some keywords bring plenty of visitors but very few sales. Very broad searches like "laptops" or "fitness" often attract people who are only looking for general information. It is usually better to focus on keywords that show buying intent, such as product reviews, comparisons, or searches that include words like "best" or "buy."
 
Keywords that have nothing to do with the products being promoted are worth avoiding because they attract the wrong audience. It is also a good idea to stay away from misleading keywords that promise something the content cannot deliver. Getting relevant visitors is much more valuable than getting large amounts of traffic that never convert.
