Moving from a regular job to freelancing is a big change in almost every way. You go from having a fixed salary and set hours to not knowing exactly when your next payment is coming. There is also the mental shift of no longer having a boss or a team around you, which can feel freeing for some and isolating for others. Beyond that, there are things like taxes, client hunting, and pricing your work that most employees never had to think about before. What did you find hardest when you first made that move?
