Bounce Rate is the percentage of single page sessions of your overall traffic. This means that a user could land on your page, consume all of it's content, then exit - and it would still count as a bounce, for the sole reason that the user did not advance to a second page.
But is it really a reliable metric, then? For example, the engagement by a user who was on your page for less than 10 seconds vs. another user who spent 5 mins on the same page, has got to be massively different right? Technically, both will be counted as bounces, unless they click through to other sections.
