From what I have noticed, many clients do not just look at finished work, they try to understand how that work solves a real problem. A portfolio is simply a collection of past projects that shows what you can do and how you think. They seem to pay attention to clear results, simple explanations, and proof that the work helped someone. Do clients care more about the look of the work, or the results it brings, and what really makes them trust a freelancer enough to send a message?
