I'm not really sure what direction to take next. I've been running a small fashion e-commerce store for a few months. I've tried different types of content to promote the products.

I've posted outfit photos, short videos, and some carousel posts on Instagram. I also tried a few behind-the-scenes clips and customer reviews. I created a few blog posts around styling tips. Some posts get attention. Others barely get any views.

I want to keep creating content that actually helps the brand grow. I just don't know which one works best right now. What content formats work best for fashion e-commerce store?

Experimenting with different types of content is a great strategy to find out what works best for your fashion e-commerce store. Based on your experiences so far. Invest time and effort into creating visually appealing images and videos that showcase your products from multiple angles. High-quality visuals can attract the attention of potential customers and increase engagement.

People want to see the clothes, not just read about them. Clean, high-quality product photos are a must, especially from different angles. Try-ons, outfit checks, or quick styling clips help shoppers picture how things actually look on a real person. Customer photos and reviews are gold too, because they feel honest and relatable. Lookbooks and outfit inspo posts help people imagine full fits instead of single items. And don't sleep on clear, simple product descriptions

For a fashion e-commerce store, content that shows the clothes in real-life situations usually works best. Short videos or reels featuring full outfits, styling tips, or mix-and-match ideas tend to get more engagement. Carousel posts that highlight different looks or product details can also perform well. Behind-the-scenes clips and customer photos help build trust, but the main goal is to inspire people and show how the clothes can fit into their lifestyle. Simple product photos on their own rarely grab attention.

Visual content such as high-quality product photos, try-ons, and outfit inspiration posts indeed play a significant role in attracting customers to fashion e-commerce stores. They help in showcasing the products effectively and providing potential customers with a better understanding of how the items look and fit. Incorporating customer photos and reviews can also build trust and credibility among your audience.

Short videos are even better, like try-ons, outfit swaps, or quick "this is how it fits" clips, since they help people decide faster. Customer photos also go a long way because they feel more real and trustworthy. Style guides or lookbooks are great too, especially when someone needs outfit ideas instead of just one item. Even social media posts and reels can grab attention quickly. Basically, the more you help people imagine themselves wearing it in real life, the easier it is for them to hit buy.

The content format that works best for fashion e-commerce stores is to do the try-on videos from real customers. This is because short videos of people trying on outfits, showing fit and movement, convert best. Static photos no longer work. Then post them on Titkok, Facebook and Instagram reels.

When it comes to content formats for a fashion e-commerce store, focusing on visual elements is key. High-quality images and videos showcasing the products in real-life situations, such as try-on videos, outfit inspiration clips, and customer-generated content, can be particularly effective. Leveraging platforms like TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram Reels to share this content can help drive engagement and conversions.
