Ask What can I do to solve the problem of adware on my phone?

I consider myself a tech savvy person and I can NOT figure this out! Sometimes I let my 9 year old use my phone, and she likes to play the ad games that sometimes pop up during her phone game. Usually I don't care because nothing has happened so far. However, since she last used it, ads will play randomly... EVEN DURING PHONE CALLS! And using my GPS! And Spotify!

We ran Malwarebytes and another program and they both found nothing. I'm just lost

What you're describing is not a normal redirect, it's called domain masking or cloaking. A standard 301 or 302 redirect always changes the URL in the browser to the target page, so if you want your domain to stay visible, you need to use a frame or iframe method. Some domain registrars offer "URL forwarding with masking," where the destination page is loaded inside a frame but your domain stays in the address bar. Even if Malwarebytes didn't find anything, the adware might be hidden in an app. Start by going through all recently installed apps, especially ones your child might've downloaded. Delete anything suspicious or unnecessary. Also, check the app permissions—some apps might request permissions they don't need, like overlay or system access. If nothing works, backing up your data and doing a factory reset might be the best solution.
