To be very honest this is the first time I am going to hear that marketing and sales never get along. If you really want to get consistent sales with your business it is very important for you to engage in marketing. You are going to struggle a lot as a business owner if you focus on generating sales by approaching your audience one on one. Is strong strategic marketing can help you to reduce the stress of struggling to generate sales. Is strategic marketing identified where your audience can be found in large number in came up with marketing message to attract them in mass to generate sales for you. In a not your strong marketing brings consistent sales so both of them get along.

Marketing is all about building the brand, running campaigns, and bringing in leads over time. Sales? They're under pressure to hit targets and close deals now. That's why sales sometimes thinks marketing's leads aren't any good, and marketing feels like sales just doesn't get what they're doing. Add in bad communication, ego, and the fight over who gets the credit, and it's a recipe for tension. At the end of the day, both want the same thing

To be honest, I just have to be differ with this opinion, except I am enlightened more on it. Marketing will surely drive sales. When business owners identify their potential customers and as well use different strategies to reach out to them, I do believe that sales will be surely increased.
