Ask What are the pros and cons of going deep into one niche of digital marketing?

Focusing on one niche, local SEO or email marketing, means you can become very good at it faster than someone trying to learn everything. Clients and employers often prefer someone with clear expertise over a generalist. The downside is that if demand drops in that area, or the industry changes, you have fewer options to fall back on. Going deep works well when the niche has consistent demand and you enjoy the work enough to stick with it long term. What do you think matters more in digital marketing, being a specialist or knowing a bit of everything?
