While doing social media marketing, there are some metrics that need to be focused on. Some of them would tell the social media how effective their strategies are. The common basic metrics would include, engagement which will tell the users the total number of people that got engaged in comment, likes and the likes.

The reach will show the number of people that see the posts while followers will show those that follow. CTR would show those that click on anything.
 
There's reach and impressions, which tell you how many people are actually seeing your stuff. Follower growth is good to track too, so you know if your audience is getting bigger. Click-through rate shows if people are interested enough to visit your website, and conversion rate tells you if they're taking action, like buying something or signing up. Lastly, keep an eye on mentions and comments to see what people are saying about your brand
