Doing email marketing can be very challenging. There are some people that have even quit the marketing strategies as a result of the challenges that they are likely to face while doing this.

Getting people convinced can be very difficult. This is one of the challenges that email marketers face. Some do not know the right tools to use in order for them to get to the right audience.

I've seen email marketers struggle mainly with engagement and audience targeting. Even if you have a big email list, not everyone opens or clicks the links. Timing is another challenge—sending emails at the wrong time can reduce effectiveness. Some marketers also find it hard to balance personalization with automation. Plus, keeping up with changing regulations and avoiding spam complaints is a constant worry. It's a mix of creative, technical, and legal challenges that makes email marketing harder than it looks.

First off, everyone's inbox is always packed, so getting someone to even notice your email is a struggle. Most people just scroll past or ignore it. Then there's spam filters. Another headache is low engagement, because people don't really click or read like they used to. On top of that, privacy rules make it harder to collect and use customer info the way marketers want. And you can't just send random stuff. Also, cleaning up inactive subscribers is a constant chore.
